Intelligent chart recorder DS 500 for compressed air and gases
The DS 500 Intelligent Chart Recorder is a versatile and sophisticated device for recording, displaying, alerting, storing and remote reading of measured data. Featuring a clear 7″ colour screen with touch panel, it allows for easy viewing and navigation. Integrated with CS Soft Basic software, it can send alarms via SMS or email and display all measured values, curves and threshold exceedings. Users can easily view curve progressions from the beginning of the measurement with a simple slide of the finger.
DS 500 is also capable of generating daily/weekly/monthly reports with costs in € and counter reading in m³ for each consumption sensor, making it an indispensable tool in a sophisticated system concept. Its ease of initiation and evaluation of measured data sets it apart from ordinary paperless chart recorders.
DS 500 can identify and power all sensors directly, ensuring seamless and efficient operation. The device can be networked and transmit data remotely via a webserver, making your data accessible from anywhere in the world.
Key Features of DS 500:
Clear Layout: Features a 7″ colour screen with touch panel for intuitive navigation and viewing.
Versatile: Can connect with up to 12 optional sensors.
Industrial-Grade: Comes in a robust metal housing with IP 65 protection, suitable for industrial applications. It also comes in a panel mounting version.
Web Accessible: Network-compatible for global data accessibility via a webserver.
Math Function: Has an internal calculator for crunching numbers.
Totalizer Function: Useful for processing analogue signals.
Efficient: Saves time and cost during installation.
Applications of Mathematical and Totalizer Function:
Mathematical function allows the calculation of typical figures for a compressed air plant like costs per generated m³ air, kWh per m³ of generated air, and consumption of individual lines including summation.
The totalizer function can process analogue signals (e.g., 0/4…20 mA, 0…10 V) and generate a total counter reading in m³, making it useful for third-party sensors which only give a 4…20 mA signal for the actual flow in m³/h.
24 VDC, max. 130 mA per sensor, integrated mains unit max. 24 VDC, 25 W. In case of version 8/12 sensor inputs, 2 integrated mains units each max. 24 VDC, 25 W.
Interfaces:
USB stick, Ethernet / RS 485 Modbus-RTU / TCP, SDI other bus systems on request, webserver optional
