IAC 500 Sensor for Measuring Ambient Conditions

The IAC 500 is designed to measure ambient conditions in a room, including absolute pressure, room temperature, and humidity.

Applications include:

  • Monitoring the intake air of compressed air stations
  • Keeping track of room air conditions in areas such as cold rooms, storage rooms, or clean rooms

Determining compressor delivery rate depends on the intake air.

When designing compressed air stations, it’s crucial to consider the installation site and the climatic conditions.

Large temperature fluctuations, for instance between day and night, can result in inconsistent compressed air flow.

Key features include:

  • A 3-in-1 sensor to measure absolute pressure, temperature, and humidity in the room
  • Interfaces for Modbus-RTU, Ethernet, or M-Bus
  • An alarm relay with limit value adjustable via buttons (max 60 VDC, 0.5 A)
  • Optional: 2 x 4…20 mA analogue outputs and 2 x alarm relays, suitable for dew point and temperature, for instance.
