IAC 500 sensor for measuring ambient conditions

The IAC 500 measures ambient conditions in a room, including absolute pressure, room temperature, and humidity.

Applications of IAC 500 include:

  • Monitoring the intake air at compressed air stations
  • Monitoring room air, for instance, in cold rooms, storage rooms, or clean rooms

The performance of compressors is influenced by the characteristics of the intake air. Therefore, the installation site and climatic conditions should be considered during the design phase of compressed air stations. Large temperature fluctuations, such as those between day and night, can lead to irregular compressed air flow.
