Particle counter PC 400 – mobile solution according to ISO 8573

The PC 400 particle counter is an incredibly precise optical instrument capable of detecting particles as small as 0.1 µm, making it an ideal tool for monitoring compressed air quality of class 1 (ISO 8573). It serves to monitor the functioning of filtration elements within the compressed air system, promptly identifying any filter perforations. It also automatically supervises the flow of compressed air through the counter.

When deployed in a mobile setup with DS 500 mobile, it provides:

  • A PC 400 particle counter, equipped to handle compressed air and gases down to 0.1 µm. It includes a pressure reducer and comes in a handy service case.
  • A connection cable for third-party sensors to portable devices with open ends, measuring 5 m in length.
  • A DS 500 mobile chart recorder featuring 4 sensor inputs.
  • CS Soft Basic software that allows for data evaluation in both graphic and table form. The data can be read out via USB or Ethernet.
  • An alternative version of the PC 400 particle counter, capable of measuring particles as small as 0.3 µm, is also available.

The mobile PC 400 particle counter is compatible with a range of gases, including air/compressed air, argon (Ar), nitrogen (N2), and oxygen (O2).
