Particle counter PC 400 – stationary solution according to ISO 8573

The PC 400 particle counter is a highly precise optical instrument capable of measuring particles as small as 0.1 µm. This makes it perfect for monitoring compressed air quality of class 1 (ISO 8573). It serves to ensure the correct functioning of filtration elements in the compressed air system, immediately identifying potential filter perforations. Automatic supervision of the compressed air flow through the particle counter is included.

When paired with the DS 400 in a stationary setup, you get:

  • The PC 400 particle counter, suitable for compressed air and gases down to 0.1 µm, inclusive of a pressure reducer.
  • A 5 m connection cable.
  • The DS 400 chart recorder, featuring a graphic display and touch screen operation.
  • Optional integrated data logger capable of storing up to 100 million measured values.
  • Optional integrated Ethernet and RS 485 interface.
  • CS Soft Basic software for data evaluation in graphic and table form, enabling data extraction via USB or Ethernet.
  • An alternative version to the standard PC 400 particle counter is available, capable of measuring particles as small as 0.3 µm.

The stationary PC 400 particle counter can be used with a variety of gases, including air/compressed air, argon (Ar), nitrogen (N2), and oxygen (O2).
